Become an Astroprenuer
Join Us Today!
We are looking for future space industry experts to join us! As an ATLAS Space Explorer, you will have access to mentors who actually work in the field of satellite communications. Under their guidance, you will model the practices of a high end startup tech company. In addition to the technical experience you will gain, you will also learn the business side of launching a simulated satellite into the stratosphere.
What Will You Be Doing?
-
Learn how to bring in funding through the creation of a pitch deck, networking, and presenting to a variety of potential investor groups
-
Develop a logistical framework, to include determining what equipment will be necessary, and whether or not the investment is worth the cost
-
Present data at a variety of space related forums to share your experience with likeminded people and to increase exposure to the program
In addition to participating in an impactful project, you will engage with the movers and shakers of the Traverse City tech community, engage in professional development, expand your network, and take part in fun activities. No matter your experience level, we give you the tools to learn meaningful skills that you can use in a real world setting.
Meetings are held on Mondays between September and June. There is an expectation that you will work on your assigned tasks outside of meeting time.
The ATLAS Space Explorers is where tomorrow’s space technology experts begin their education. Will you be one of us?
